Eating clean!

Hey guys! I just thought I'd share some awesomeness with you all :) I've been known to struggle with my eating and drinking  habits over the last several years. In 2010 I was diagnosed with hypertension (high blood pressure). Ever since then I have tried different ways to start getting to healthy.  Kinda like get rich quick schemes.  I've had moments at the gym and even took to my own diet ideas. Well in 2014 my goal is to tackle this high blood pressure and take control of my health!!! Not only will I be working out more but I will eat better as well! My cousin recently bought a nutribullet to use for baby food for her 8 month old daughter! ♡the baby is eating fresh♡ I realized that I can use this to make smoothies and that's what I have been doing for the past week for breakfast or lunch! Today I am having a delicious green smoothie! If you like fruits and vegetables you should definitely give smoothies a try!!!
Today's recipe:
1 cup fresh kale greens
1/2 of a red delicious apple
1/4 of a whole grapefruit
1/2 of a banana
1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
Ice to chill feel free to add water
Although green in color from the kale, this smoothie taste AMAZING!  Enjoy my good people :)
