Bravotv has outdone themselves this week!!!

Mrs. Lenethia 'NeNe" Leakes is at it again yall, but this time she is not coming for one but three throats!  Just when we thought the effects of last weeks episode of #RHOA had wore off....in marches a parade of drama.

Queen NeNe, and I am beginning to use that term lightly, is VERY upset at how Kenya and Marlo are becoming fast friends, but I'll get back to that.  A portion of the cast showed up to celebrate Peter Thomas surprise 53rd birthday party. (where in the ATL is Apollo) Things seemed to be peachy until NeNe arrived fvashionably late and began throwing shade toward Peter... AT HIS OWN PARTY... can you believe her??? Well Peter wasn't about to have that and quickly shut NeNe down.  Peter playfully let NeNe know that they were better than that and that they were there to enjoy his day.  NeNe shadily obliged and the party went on.  That is UNTIL NeNe tried to make her statement of an "early escape"  but Miss USA herself was not about to let her off that easily.

Kenya gracefully walked past NeNe and gave her a quick hello as if to say "B**** you were not leaving this party without acknowledging me."  Long story short, Kenya sincerely apologized for her faults that she may have had in her and NeNes recent disagreement.  When Kenya went in for a hug NeNe tried to shade her with a high five, but Kenya reached he arms around that 5' 10" neck and pulled in a forced hug that NeNe could not escape.  Just when things seemed like they may have cooled down a bit...

Cynthia has an event that may go down in #RHOA history!!! During Cynthia's "Bailey Bowl" which was a fitness event where all of the housewives put together their own individual team of players to go head to head in a series of relay style races.  What seemed like all fun and games was short lived when The Empress of fashion herself Marlo Hampton showed up last, throwing tiny jabs about not being invited to play on NeNes team.   That seemed strange to me since the team supposedly included all of Mrs. Leakes "bride"maids.

Some might say that Marlo is wrong for not kicking Kenya to the curb when she heard hat NeNe was no longer featuring her as a friend.  Some might even say her loyalty lies with NeNe.   Welll JAREBEARSAYS >>>>>>>>> > that no one should be able to choose friends for anyone else.   If an individual isn't head strong enough to know when someone is not for them then that is something they have to learn along the way.  If Kenya was causing NeNe harm or putting her in danger then that would be one thing, but that is not what's going on.  Like I said last week.  NeNe's relevance is being threatened and she is getting a little salty.
I wish that NeNe would handle the situation like the classy diva we all want her to be, but it seems like the little hope for reality stars turned hollywood starletts is being lost wih our girl.  The humble pie is on the table.  Someone just needs to slice it!

Morning Tea!

In light of the content on my social media feeds/timelines this past weekend, I thought this post was befitting.

When does social media beef become a joke. It is to the point that people are arguing with people directly and/or indirectly and they are not even following each other.  What happened to the days where people could actually go to the source and either talk things out or where I'm from come to blows?! Now I'm in NO way, shape, or form promoting violence!!!   I'ts just that people are quick to announce that they are grown yet we have adults beefing with children neighbors ready to kill each other and all this happening online as a show for a world of people who really can careless about your well being.  If everyone is so grown then how about taking your thumbs off of the keyboard and keeping the unnecessary drama and pathetic behavior to yourselves.  I'm not talking about anyone in particular BUT if u feel a lil funny after reading this then... #NuffSaid There are so many more important things going on around you.  MY PEOPLE BACK HOME IN PITTSBURGH should be showing the most love to each other after all that has gone on in my community in the last 6 months alone! It saddens me that we as a people don't work harder to set better examples for the people coming up under us.  I guess it's true when they say some things never change!

As I sit here and have tea time with you good people I would like to say listen up and when you are finished here tell a friend... there is plenty of tea to go around! Hope everyone had as good of a weekend as possible :)

American Idol anyone?? #IdolRushWeek

More like idol sucked week.  Now make no mistake...I am a longtime fan of American Idol and have watched faithfully just about every season.  So it may not be hard to understand why I feel so strongly opinionated at times! This weeks episodes so far consisted of performances by the top 10 boys and girls.  If you watched last week then you know that they reduced the contestants down to the top 15 girls and boys leaving 30 contestants remaining.  THIS IS WHY IM PUZZLED and let me know if I'm the only one...why in the hell did they bring 15 boys and girls forward if they were only going to let 10 of each perform this week and just send the rest home???? If you ask me American Idol just needed to add shows/airtime to the schedule because with all of the other changes already made that last idea was VERY unnecessary!!! But hey that's just my opinion.  Any way I'd like to share with you my favs of this season and they are Jeana (<<<spellcheck ), Malcolm, and I added one based on tonights performance where I think the judges critique of him was so not cool or correct for that matter, but who am I?? *takes breath* but George will definitely be getting a few votes from me tonight so let me jump off of here and get back to you guys later!

All things Housewives! *bloop*

So NeNe Leakes had an EPISODE on this episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta!!! I mean if the sun was out in Florida it would have been a shady day! Miss Kenya Moore had a charity event where she claims to have invited all of the ladies in the cast.  Some of the women RSVP'd but NeNe is being accused by Kenya as not doing so.  NeNe denied ever being invited which sparked a tension to be sliced with a bag of knives!!!! When the event took place all hell broke loose when NeNe decided to show up and show...out??? Kenya introduced NeNe as Belle of the ball, but when Mrs. Belle took to the mic I think Beast took over that fairy tale!  NeNe (in my opinion) was bitter and rude.  Not only was she short but there was nothing sweet about her comments about friends or the charity.  Now everyone loves them some NeNe Leakes and if you say u don't I don't believe you.  BUT I will honestly state that in my opinion Queen NeNe feels that the throne is being threatened and she isn't the most current housewife right now.  Maybe queen mother needs to go on a few auditions before the next event!!! Hollywood is still there they may not be calling,  but get in line with the rest of the folk who grinding for theirs!

Eating clean!

Hey guys! I just thought I'd share some awesomeness with you all :) I've been known to struggle with my eating and drinking  habits over the last several years. In 2010 I was diagnosed with hypertension (high blood pressure). Ever since then I have tried different ways to start getting to healthy.  Kinda like get rich quick schemes.  I've had moments at the gym and even took to my own diet ideas. Well in 2014 my goal is to tackle this high blood pressure and take control of my health!!! Not only will I be working out more but I will eat better as well! My cousin recently bought a nutribullet to use for baby food for her 8 month old daughter! ♡the baby is eating fresh♡ I realized that I can use this to make smoothies and that's what I have been doing for the past week for breakfast or lunch! Today I am having a delicious green smoothie! If you like fruits and vegetables you should definitely give smoothies a try!!!

Today's recipe:
1 cup fresh kale greens
1/2 of a red delicious apple
1/4 of a whole grapefruit
1/2 of a banana
1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
Ice to chill feel free to add water

Although green in color from the kale, this smoothie taste AMAZING!  Enjoy my good people :)
