If you are even a tad bit like everyone else in the United States, then Thursday nights you watch Scandal on abc.  Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Actor Columbus Short has been fired from one of the most watched television shows in America.

Some would call the recent events that transpired in Shorts life scandals.  It could be that all of the negative press he's been getting lately may be the reason he has been let go.

Columbus released a statement to entertainment weekly saying

 “At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today,”

"Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for (my character) Harrison Wright to exit the canvas. “



I guess this is farewell to Harrison Wright.  Just when we were hopeful for a stronger presence from him in the story line!! I have to say as a fan it is heartbreaking, but as a man, you have to be accountable for your actions and what you put into the world. I can't speak for all gladiators out there, but I wish him the best!

Actor Jay Ellis has graced the cover of Sheen Magazine.  Jay is an actor who stars in the BET dramedy "The Game."  He plays football player Blueprint Westbrook, love interest alongside Lauren London's character Kiera Whitaker.  Jay Ellis has been chosen for the Exclusive Men's Issue which will be on stands April 29th 2014.  Be sure to check it out. Basketball Wives? *FOUL ON THE PLAY*

this is officially my very first blog about the #BBWLA

I was not able to express myself the way I cared to about this show because of my Lent fast from social media.  NOW I AM READY  TO SPILL THE TEA!!!

This season of #BBWLA has been strangely entertaining.  Jackie Christie and the girls have kept the drama flowing like a consistent river.  I was surprised to hear that the last episode was the season finale because I did not collect that bit of info in advance.  With that said I am going to give my opinion on this season's finale.  I am not here to judge but only to voice my opinion and maybe entertain my good people at the same time.  I think that we should just get to it!

Let me start by saying that Jackie Christie must retire A.S.A.P.  I am a fan of the show since day one and have never enjoyed her presence.  I KNOW that I am not the only viewer who feels this way.  I must admit that I have hung with the older crowd since I was a kid, but I have NEVER allowed a childish adult to influence my life in such a negative way.  I think that Jackie is very manipulative, arrogant, and last but not least a SOCIOPATH!  I am almost certain that I am not the only one who believes that she instigates fights, hands out lies, and passes on drama to everyone she proclaims to be friends with on the show.  

Draya has finally grasped the concept of Mrs. Christie's ways.  Jackie is a clear example of a woman who wants to be a boss without boss credentials.  I personally blame VH1 for even giving her the time of day.  This blog post is not meant to get into specifics because if you watch the show... #nuffsaid

I'm going to make a long story short on this one only because I have been up all night, and now I need some time to myself.  VH1 should recast all of #BBWLA, give Draya her own show, and Malaysia should co-star.

Jackie needs to move far on, Sundy and Brittish should vacate the scene, and go on about the lateness they have carried through these awful episodes.  (keep that bull in their own real time.) Brandy should stay behind the camera and take care of herself, and Jackie's daughter ( I refuse to remember her name) should intervene on her simple ass momma and convince her that she needs to keep up with her meds.  

I will probably seem like a jerk for this post but I am very okay with that!  I feel like I spoke on this season as well as it deserves to be discussed.   #BBWLA may still be a highly rated show but I feel like it's time is up just like those Miami NOTS!!!  When all else fails head back to the drawing board.  Vh1 we love you but we need you to get it together...put our East Coast girls on TV #BBWNY #BBWNJ #BBWPHILA what's up????

All Things Housewives! *The beatage was real*

So last nights episode of #RHOA is all the twitter.  The reunion kicked off to an exciting start.  The cast got dressed for the God's and might I say that all of the women looked lovely, but that'ts just my opinion!


Now let's get to it...

Once again this years reunion show opened up the library for many reads.  This year the librarian was yet again Phaedra Parks.   That girl can read you cover to cover if you are not careful of your approach to her.   Clearly she is still not feeling Miss Kenya Moore, but yall knew that.  Phaedra lit Kenya on fire when she told her "You can't be a housewife because you can't get a husband."  Kenya still claims to have a relationship with her African Prince that she has talked about all season long.  The cast is obviously not buying that this so called relationship exist...Andy doesn't seem convinced and NEITHER AM I!!! (THE SHADE IS REAL)  Even when Kenya tried to say that NeNe Leakes met her prince, NeNe denied that claim during the show saying that she never met him, and she did have an awkward moment in Beverly Hills where a man approached her but she did not know who he was or what she was talking about.  It came to be that it was Kenya's "African Prince" but that's not proof enough for our media driven minds!   Kenya if he is real bless his heart and teach him how to pronounce your name so NeNe won't be so confused next time!!


OK! The beatage...

LAWD would somebody please tell me why they would allow ANYONE to bring their silly little props on to the set of the reunion show tapings.  Andy and the producers need to eliminate that option immediately.  Not only is it corny, but it is classless and tacky.  The women need to just hash out the drama and leave the toys to the children.  What is the point in getting all glamm'd up in gowns and pounds of weave if your gonna be acting like a bunch of clowns. Anywho... I'm not saying that Porsha was right for dragging Miss Kenya Moore, but anyone with two eyes can see that she was being provoked and bullied as some like to say so obnoxiously.  Kenya was quick to yell out "get fired" and "she's gone" but does she not see where she was wrong in all of this??? BUT OF COURSE NOT.

JAREBEARSAYS violence is never the answer, but everyone has different reactions to different situations.  Porsha and Kenya could have handled the situation differently but I believe that both are suffering the consequences of their own actions.  I don't know what I would have done in that situation.  I will tell you this though, I wouldn't have been toting any props around the set.  Maybe the bullhorn took up too much space in Kenya's hands hence her not being able to protect herself from Porsha's wrath.   If Porsha has to leave the show I will be bummed.  If Kenya Moore stays in the cast I will be annoyed.  All in all the #RHOA reunion show part 1 was very entertaining and sad at the same time.

Morning Tea!

It's been a while and although I don't have a big following, I know some of you were wondering why...

LET'S HAVE TEA!


To all of my good people out there I just want to say hello and hope that all is well.  I have spent a little time away from social media because I decided to fast during Lent.  For those of you who don't know I am a Christian and I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ.  Not perfect in any way, I knew that I needed to take time to myself to gather some thoughts and even gain new ideas about my life and the direction I would like to see it go.  I have prayed and I have asked God to continue to bare with me in my life struggles and be with me in my triumphs the same.  I hope that the things that I do in life are being blessings to others in some way or another as I have been blessed so much by God and his people that are in my life.  People constantly praise me for my talents and infinitely have faith in my capabilities where I often doubt myself the most.  I am grateful to have such a loving and caring family/circle of individuals who love the way they do and I am working on ways to reciprocate that same kind of love and care every day of my life.


Now that I have taken some time to myself and worked more on my personal relationship with God, I feel comfortable enough to return to social media and pursue what I feel is my life's journey or my Greater Destiny!  I hope that I can reach people that need to be reached.  I pray that I can touch hearts.  I will be supportive to others and I will believe in myself more.  We live in an imperfect world where we all want to be perfect even if we know we will never be.  I will continue to blog and entertain my good people as long as you will have me.  The support is always appreciated and will never go unnoticed.  Tell a friend to tell a friend what JAREBEARSAYS!! Let's all grow together.
