R&B Divas LA (Divas have egos too?)

So episode 2...

It seems the Diva's are coming into this season with some hesitation on everyone's part.  After all last season clearly put the girls to the test.  With two new girls replacing two former girls, could the shad simmer down? Or will it escalate all together?

Lil Mo has opened up about her relationship with her ex husband and decided to share on this episode.  She is going through a divorce and it is not only affecting her, but her children as well.  Mo has never been shy about expressing her self.  (FOLLOW HER ON INSTAGRAM  @TheLilMoShow  TO BE ENTERTAINED!!!!) Ok back to it.  So when it came to her discussing it with her young children I was kind of puzzled at why they were all afraid to communicate with each other on the matter.  Kids usually keep quiet because they are confused and don't understand what is goin on.   Mo's kids, however, seem to be aware and concerned.  They also are showing that they are very protective of their mother, which most children are.  It is always good when the reality show can show real things and portray them in a positive light.  I am glad Mo allows her children to be a part of the show for that reason!

Claudette seems to have let her guard down a little more this season.  She is stepping up and trying to get some things going for herself and the girls as well.  She still seems to be on edge tho because she is in fear of anything happening like it did last season.  EVERYONE WHO WATCHED SEASON 1 knows what I am talking about.  But it is good to see her coming out of her shell!

Chante Chante Chante

Giiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrlllllllllllllllllllllllllll I'm feeling a lil shady moment coming from Ms Chante Moore yall!  She of all people should know what it feels like to be played and taken advantage of my one of the Divas!  Wouldn't it have been a lot smarter of her to evaluate her approach to inviting the women to sing on her song than to just invite them to the study without a full understanding of what was going on.  Sounds like trickery to me.  Tsk tsk tsk.  Chante dissappointed me this episode.  What about you guys??  

I think that the ladies were right for feeling thrown off by what was going on in the studio.  I also think that they should not have to sing background at this point in their careers.  BUT I do think they should make exceptions when it has something to do with a project for a Diva on the show.  They are all supposed to be coming together to help each other out.  At least that was my understanding of this entire series.

Chante's whole approach was just off which made for an unnecessary awkward situation.  The Diva's were biting their tongues and borderline speaking up.  Then there were their childish moments when they wouldn't even make eye contact with Chante after recording their parts of the song.  They added to the awkwardness by being childish which forced Chante to end the session early.

It's funny to me how the ladies on these shows need the shows to help their careers, but when it comes down to it they all seem to have the biggest egos in the world.  

Whatever the case I think these are all some of the most talented women in the industry who should stick together and continue to build each other up.  If you are in it for the drama and the ratings then your career and your gift will suffer.  I wish that these ladies would use these platforms wisely and grow!!! Grow together so that R&B music will continue to grasp us and keep us listening.  We want that good music.  The music that comes from the SOUL.  So Divas think about that when you join these shows, but don't forget to keep us entertained *wink*

ATLANTA exes

First there were the HOLLYWOOD exes...

Now VH1 presents you all with ATLANTA exes.  Is anyone excited for this show?? I am more intrigued than anything.  I follow Hollywood exes and it was interesting to hear from the ex wives of superstars and hear about their relationships and how they felt being with a super famous husband. We got a lot of heartfelt stories from the women of Hollywood.  They have all been separated from their men for a number of years and most of them have remained co-parents to their children.   

Well the Atlanta Ladies are all more recently separated from their men so these stories will  probably stir up more emotion and also may cause the men to talk!!! We have here The ex wife of Usher,Tameka Raymond. Ne-Yo's ex fiancée, Monyetta Shaw is cast.  Christina Johnson the ex wife of CeeLo Green.  Kevin Hart's ex wife Torrei Hart joins the cast as well as Sheree Buchanan, Ray Buchanan's ex.  All of the ladies aren't very well known, but when it comes to their men EVERYBODY KNOWS! 

Secrets will be revealed, and I'm sure some lies will be told.  Either way this show seems like it's about to get juicy!!!  What do you guys think???? I guess we will have to tune in to  Atlanta exes premieres August 18, 2014 on VH1!

Let me begin by saying that it has become clear to me that Love and Hip Hop is the most ratchet reality show on TV at the moment.   I mean bad girls club don't have anything on this mess.  The sad part of it all is that it's sooooooooooooooooooo obviously scripted that my heart won't allow me to believe the lies!!! lol

You cannot and most certainly will NOT make me believe that Mimi was unaware that this sex tape was going to be put out for the world to see.  I'm not buying her act and I'm not buying that sex tape either.  My coins don't fund pure ridiculousness, but anywho...
Nikko is just so upfront with the mess and the way he speaks to Mimi about their tape is like he has no concerns with what she will go through and that in itself tells me there's no way she didn't know.  He is way too calm and into it, and she still has him around.  Now yall can put that 1+1 together and tell me what you get.

Joseline Hernandez aka The self proclaimed Puerto Rican Princess is so boring this season.  I'm not trying to be rude but she is not talented the way she believes she is and Puerto Rican Princess... Did she not get the J. Lo memo???????????? Lmao ok that was rude and I try to stay positive and supportive, but this show yall! Come on.  Stevie is still the ultimate sleeze ball and Joseline still putting up with that mess.  I mean a lot of us will deal with some things because of love, but Stebbie old enough to be her damn daddy.  You don't sell yaself short for Gramps!!! And if Mimi don't quit giving Joseline so much life by bringing her name up in every scene.  I'm like dang girl you old enough to be her mother, why is she stressing you out like that?? I guess that's what children will do lol.

Benzino Benzino Benzino.  For some odd reason I have a soft spot for the man.  I believe that in his old age he is really trying to make some things right in his life.  The only thing is he keep picking up these chicken heads.  Yall are supposed to be some industry movers and shakers and yall keep trying to wife these birds.  I guess we can't all have our Will and Jada.  DO NOT MARRY ALTHEA she is a gold digger and it is clear she has no respect for you Zino because she can't even keep her composure at a decent event.  She too worried about her fellow birds. All cooty cat ain't good cooty cat! (Joseline v)

It is really nice that Erica, Rasheeda, and Ariane are trying to be supportive of their friend Ms Mimi Faust.  IT IS ALSO CLEAR THAT THESE CHICKS KNOW THAT GIRL IS LYING.  Therefore there is no reason to keep crying with her and letting her talk to yall like yall did something wrong! ijs

I do see the real thing in Waka and Tammi and their family dynamic.  I can appreciate vh1 for showcasing that and not trying to dumb it down, but if Waka and his mother are as smart as I think they are they will part ways with Love and Hip Hop Atl and get their own show.   The ratchet can be entertaining, but T.I. and Tiny showed us what good family values look like on TV and I believe we need more shows like that!  You know to balance things out lol!

Student of Month!

Jonny Goood...

What else can you say??? The name speaks for itself THE KID IS GOOOD!!!!!!! I have honestly been a fan because I have been a friend...BUT with that said Imma speak without biased and hope yall can understand.  I knew Jonny Goood since high school and we formed a bond where real kinda just recognized real.  We were two totally different people who took the time to try to understand each other and it worked... I never knew that he would go in the direction that he is going in now, but proud is one of MANY words I could use to describe what some may not even count as success, but success lies in the hands that hold it!  Jonny is making a name for himself and if you haven't already heard he has work with some of the best!

Thank God for a humble beginning and a well rounded family background.  I've had the opportunity to meet the Man and Woman that raised Jonny and they are amazing people!  I am playing his new mix tape "Student of Month" non stop because it's that sugar honey ice tea you really want to hear!!! The personality shines through and the sound is just beyond awesome.  I am a HUGE B.O.B fan and Jonny reminds me of him in a way that he just took ownership of his sound and his personal style and gave no one the opportunity to make him be the stereotype artist that a lot of up and comings lose themselves trying to be.

Married to Medicine Season 2 Reunion

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo after watching the M2M season 2 reunion.  I AM NOT AT A LOSS FOR WORDS....ACTUALLY I think I have a lot to say lol!   The girls cranked up!!!!   If you have followed this season of Married to Medicine then you are well aware of the ups and down between the stars of the show.  Mariah (the self declared leading lady of the show) has developed a very negative friendship with her bestie from season one Miss Quad! honey!!!  The two have been at each others throats because Mariah has been accused of being a fake friend to Quad.  Quad has said that Mariah let it be known that she was Quads claim to fame.  Mariah did NOT appreciate those accusations and the two began a rampage of back and forth drama.

Let's switch to the real "T"  Doctor Simone!!!! Is she a hoot #ornaw  This woman got Miss Toya together, and I am not mad at her.  Not only did she call Toya a broke bish, but she also called her out on trying to live beyond her means. Simone and Toya's beef first began when Simone was dancing on Toya's husband at an event where all of the ladies were gathered.  Toya believes that she was disrespected by Simone because Simone was dancing all up on her man.  Simone did not know that it was an issue and felt that Toya came to her about it a little too late.  I think a lot of people will side with Dr. Simone on this one, but Jare Bear would loooooovvvvvveeeeee to know what you guys think :)   Dr. Heavenly is also known for voicing her opinion on Toya's situation and she can be quite hilarious as well.  Dr. Heavenly feels that Toya cannot afford to livei in the new house she recently purchased from a former athlete and his wife.  Dr. Heavenly is also very well known for being submissive to her husband, which a lot of the wives don't seem to agree with.  Would you be a submissive wife and wait on your man hand and foot like Dr. Heavenly?????

Part 2 of the reunion is fast approaching! Are you ready for the "T" because the girls seem to be spilling more than they are sipping.

Oh yeah and by the way...  IS WHAT MARIAH SAID ABOUT LISA NICOLE BEING A BORE THE TRUTH hashtag #ORNAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW???????????????   Ijs she a lil dryer than that Thanksgiving turkey from 1997...but she a sweetheart or whatever! *giggles*

Doctor Jackie tries her best to be the epitome of class BUT she a lil ratchet too.  She wants to be the happy medium among the girls, but she has her shady lady moments as well.  SHE KNOW DAMN WELL SHE DON'T KNOW TOYA'S NUMBER BY HEART, but she played it up real nice tho!!!

What I really loved about the reunion special was the set!!!! Bravo did the damn thing with that... I don't know who was responsible for the design but it was beautiful.  I don't even eat sweets and I wanted a cupcake lol.  Andy showed up dapper as usual, and he stirred the pot with his questions.  He brewed the T!!!  Stay tuned...Reunion special part 2 airs next Sunday on Bravo!!!!!!!
