The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (One landed in the cuckoos nest!!!)

It should be no surprise to know that I watch every house wives franchise and that includes the real rich b*****s in Beverly Hills.  The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills  are a festive bunch of women who sometimes mistake having nice things with having class.

On last weeks episode Brandi Glanville hosted her own housewarming party which was like none I've ever been to, and I mean that in the best way.  It was quite fancy!  She invited a lot of people including her housewives cast mates.  Brandi even invited Lisa Vanderpump.  Lisa turned down the invitation originally because of her an Brandi's broken friendship.  The last time the ladies were together they talked a little and Brandi felt she wanted Lisa to come because she wants Lisa back as a friend.  Anyone who watches the show regularly knows Lisa is not that easy to befriend again!  Once she feels you have crossed her it is a challenge to win her back.  That is why it was shocking to see Lisa show up to Brandi's house and with a gift in hand.  Lisa made it very clear that she was still not fully sure about Brandis intentions and that baby steps might be a start for them if anything.  Brandi being a little aggressive pushes the issue and it isn't hard to tell when Lisa becomes a little annoyed.  The party at Brandi's house was successful and the drama seemed to not be.


When the Ladies got together again for a charity event at PUMP, Lisa's newest restaurant  there was some tension when Brandi was still trying to reach out to Lisa.  Brandi thought it would be funny to extend Lisa an

olive branch, but she literally ripped a branch off of the tree in Lisa's establishment.  Lisa was furious, but she laughed it off because she was clearly uncomfortable and did not want to cause a scene at her event.  Brandi invited Lisa to lunch and the two were able to apologize and come to some kind of understanding of their differences.  I think that it is good to see them move forward, but anytime you agree to move forward you should not keep being petty, nor should you be pushy.  Lisa and Brandi are cordial at this point so all seems to be well with the group. 


BUT BRANDI'S WORK IS NEVER DONE

This weeks episode...


Lisa Rinna, Brandi Glanville, Eileen Davidson, and Yolanda Foster are out to dinner together.  They are all enjoying themselves.  Brandi updates the on her lunch with Lisa V and everyone is pleased to here that they seem to be moving forward in a positive manner.  Things didn't get weird until the conversation turned to Eileen talking about how her and her husband met and got together.  Eileen met her husband on the set of Days of our lives which is the show she is on.  Brandi was annoyed because she knew that Eileen and her husband were both married when they got together.

  Eileen explained everything and Brandi appeared to understand and even respect Eileens story, but then I think the wine kicked in.  Brandi got into super fan mode and was obsessing over Eileen begging her to act out a scene from her show.  Eileen was not down for that and dismissed the idea.  Brandi was not happy and after several threats of throwing a drink on Eileen she ACTUALLY DID IT!!!  I think me and everyone else watching are still trying to figure out WHY??  It made no sense.  That chick is looney.  All of the women were shocked.  It was so strange.


The next time Brandi saw Eileen she apologized and gave her a necklace as a peace offering.  They were able to move forward, but Eileen has made it clear that she cannot trust a cuckoo clock!!!  LOL (my words not hers)

The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Cloudy with a chance of SHADE!!!)

On last night's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta there was no shortage of SHADE...

I am telling you that I laughed my ass off watching these ladies in all of their ratchet glory!!!  There were attempts at reconciliations and even some progress was made...OR AT LEAST THAT'S HOW THINGS FIRST APPEARED.  Before I get into that though let me first say that I was happy to see that my girl Porsha Williams was all up and through this episode because I still don't appreciate them taking away her peach.  It is so obvious that she is more relevant in the story line than a lot of the girls.  ESPECIALLY THESE NEW CHICKS!

Anywho!  What is with this thing they have going on with Demetria.  It just seems like Bravo is showing her
in the worse light.  I mean literally she seems nothing like the star of House of Payne she once was.  She is a beautiful girl, but the make up and styling at that party for her music video premiere was not the business. She looked like somebody was playing with her in the dressing room.  I mean the side boob gets her a *side eye* and that is NO SHADE just Tea! Demetria is very talented.  I mean that girl can sang.  I guess you can say she can act too.  Why is she running around after Roger Bob for 8 years when he is clearly a ladies man and she has already proven her talent.  She needs to move to New York or get back in touch with Tyler Perry because something aint right yall!!!  Is it that hard to see when someone is holding you back???  I haven't been in the room with Demetria or Roger Bob, but it don't take a genius to see that she is a little cuckoo and he might have her under a lil spell called CONTROL ISSUES!!!  Ok JareBear play nice! lol


WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH APOLLO????   If he don't  leave Phaedra alone.  He clearly

doesn't know when someone doesn't want to be bothered, and when she does want to be bothered he wants to be in the streets so it's no wonder she gives him the cold shoulder the way that she does.  Who just pops up in the club and tries to discuss their marriage with their wife in the middle of an event she was invited to with her friends.  He's a goof ball to say the least but Imma quit with the name calling FOR NOW!  Apollo I don't know if 8 years can give you the sense that you need, but like I said before...best of luck to ya buddy!  Phaedra has to do what she feels is best for her and her boys because that is the only option her husband left her with.  I see nothing wrong with how she responded to Apollo, but that's just me.

Nene done suffered from amnesia when she got to Kandi's house!!!!!  I was weak I aint going to lie, but Imma tell you why!  Kenya tried to speak to Nene and went for the hug, but Nene was having none of that and pulled away soooooooooo fast!  I couldn't breathe.  I still can't believe how naive Kenya is to believe that her and Nene were that cool.  Nene was CLEARLY being shady on the last episode when she said that her and Kenya were friends.  There was absolutely no sincerity in her words or actions and a bat could see that in the day time!!!

 Kandi invited all of the women over for some fun with Dr. Rachel Ross and when she tried to bring the girls together with a little bondage game she fell flat by trying to ling Cynthia to NeNe.  I don't really get what the party was really for but I know that the tea was spilled when the group decided to reveal how long they had been with their significant others.  Demetria said that she had been on and off with Roger Bob for 8 years or so but there was an unexpected NOT SO SURPRISING twist when Gocha, one of the party guest, said that she had dated Roger Bob in recent years.  This shocked everyone BUT ME because I saw it coming from somewhere smh.  Demetria fled the scene and was in disbelief.  I will never under stand why but what can you do!

NeNe Leakes...The final curtain call!!! (Take a bow!)

As many may or may not know, Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran Mrs. NeNe Leakes has been spending some time on Broadway.  That is right America!!!  New York City summoned and NeNe answered that call.  She has recently starred as the wicked step mother in Cinderella and she has made a wonderful impression.  I don't know about you guys but I have been saying that NeNe has a voice on her that needs to be heard and although I have not had the chance to see Cinderella myself, I know it had to be an amazing experience for NeNe and her fans alike!

A PITTSBURGH MOMENT!

While I have you guys/gals attention let me first say that I appreciate you more than you probably know!  I am not making money blogging, HOWEVER I AM DOING WHAT I LOVE TO DO... I AM HAVING FUN!  I HONESTLY HOPE YOU ARE AS WELL!

Let's dream big together!  Yall are my team and I will take you all wherever I go!  You guys are mine!  The last month has been busy with me moving from Atlanta back to my home town of Pittsburgh, but I am officially settled in and ready to keep you guys up to date.

My holidays were filled with unpacking, linking up with family and friends, cooking and EATING.  I have been having a good time.  I hope everyone's holiday was the best one yet!  Happy New Year to all of you who get your daily dose from JAREBEARSAYS!!!

Fix My Choir! (That's the name of this show!!!)

Fix My Choir is an amazing new show on Oxygen Network!  If you have not had an opportunity to check it out, then make sure you tune in ASAP!  When the promotion for this show began I was just excited to see Michelle Williams and Deitrick Haddon in what I thought was going to be some type of choir competition show.  Fix My Choir is much more than that.  Michelle and Deitrick have set out to travel the nation

searching for Choirs that need help getting back to where they once were.  But this is not only about the choirs vocal abilities as it is about the choirs abilities to work together as a whole.

So far we have been introduced to some amazing choirs and on last night's episode we got to know Victor Bell and Halel.  Victor Bell is the leader of the Gospel music group Victor Bell and Halel.  In 2009 the group was set to do a live recorded concert.  Tickets were sold and hopes were high, but the devastation of a terrible California storm would put a hold on the show, and a dark cloud over the group.

  Victor shut down after the storm ended their recording session.  He walked away from his group and left them feeling alone and embarrassed.  People were upset that they bought tickets to the show, and the members of the choir were left to defend themselves without a leader, which caused a lot of tension.  After a long break Victor decided to revive the choir and even recruited some new members.  This seemed like a marvelous idea except for the fact that he wasn't finished solving what was already wrong with the original choir and its members.


Michelle and Deitrick have stepped in and with the help from the spirit of God, were able to get these choir members to open up and reveal their issues with the past, the present, and the future.  They did some wonderful group exercises that helped the new and seasoned members set aside their differences and come together.  Deitrick and Michelle only have five days to work with these choirs, and although Rome wasn't built in a day, God created this world in 6 days and so I'm sure he would bless his children to be able to work through minor situations in a short time.


The concert was a hit, and everyone seemed like they were pleased, especially the skeptical audience members who felt like they were left hanging the first time around.  Fix My Choir has absolutely been a blessing to watch.  Oxygen has hit a homerun with this one!  Be sure to get your dose of Fix My Choir every Wednesday night!  You will be blessed!   Thanks for reading :)

Tamar & Vince (Couples retreat???)

Tamar and Vince were in Cabo San Lucas on last nights episode.  What was supposed to start out as a fun couples retreat turned into the getaway from hell for a moment.

Since Vince asked his wife not to be on Instagram while they were on the trip all hell broke loose when
he saw a pic that Tamar claims to have innocently reposted.

SEE WHAT HAD HAPPENED WAS (Tamar Voice)  Mrs. Braxton-Hubert says she was using the bathroom and being as though she planned to be on the latrine a little longer than a number one she needed something to read.  Tamar decided to take her phone with her to the facilities, which is when the repost happened and pissed Sir Hubert all the way off.

During a yoga session Vince was no where to be found and when Tamar went calling.............BANGING AND YELLING King Hubert could not take and began to express his anger toward his wife.  Lol

Tamar likes to believe their fight was alllllllllll about Instagram, and while Vince wanted her to just hush, after a lot of back and forth, he expressed that it wasn't about Instagram really, but about her mouth which he is constantly saying is out of control.  I'LL LET YALL BE THE JUDGE.

Any who...

Vince and Tamar did not travel alone.  They invited best friends Lashawn and his wife April along with Tamar's friend Terrell and his boyfriend Ben.  Terrell and Ben's presence sparked a whole new issue when Lashawn began to show his discomfort with Terrell and Ben being their and their public displays of affection.  After some drinks and getting Tamar and Vince back on track the couples headed to dinner where Lashawn expressed his reasons for being against homosexuality due to his christian upbringing.  When Ben conversed

with Lashawn he was able to educate him on his own christian upbringing and values which led to a coming together of sorts.  Let's just say Ben was man enough to apologize, say he was learning what he didn't know, and even expressed his love for Terrell for knowing him as a person and friend first!  I personally felt like a real breakthrough took place in that moment.  

Now I am not saying that ANYONE should have to accept or believe something they don't believe in, but respect is the ultimate in it all.  It is kind of hard for me to here a person tell a person that they are living the Christian way respect the bible and what the bible says, but still contradict it all at the same time!!  Lashawn was saying all of those things while sitting at the same table with these guys downing shots of tequila and if I am not mistaking he woke up with the hangover... #Tea #NoShade


All and all it was a very good episode of Tamar and Vince.  I feel like this was one of their better shows.  It was also fun to watch everyone at the beach.  Tamar running from invisible jelly fish, Lashawn scary behind running from water, and Vince running from the damn jet ski!!!!  That was all a hoot.

Tiny & Shekinah's Weave Trip (Bourbon Street Takeover!!!!)

Tiny and Shekinah have been on a hilarious journey during their Weave Trip.  The ladies have been up to their usual friendly fighting, but have been having an adventure none the less!

They have decked out an amazing bus and transformed it into a mobile hair salon.  On last nights episode the duo stopped in Louisiana.  Their main goal was to throw a Mardis Gras party on the historically famous Bourbon Street.  While out dining on some of New Orleans famous beignets, Tiny and Shekinah were recognized by a fun group of girls who were part of a bridal party.  They were happy to meet the girls and even invited the ladies to come and party with them the next day.  What was more exciting for Tiny and Shekinah was the fact that Shekinah had her first opportunity to do some hair on the bus.  Although the women weren't Shekinah's usual clientele,  she was able to style the ladies hair and the clients were very pleased with the outcome.

So far so good Tiny and Shekinah.  This show is giving us more of what we love about these fun loving Divas!!!  Their personalities shine through in an amazing way.  Unlike a lot of other reality stars,  these two best friends are not afraid to be themselves.  They stay true to who they are and find a way not to let the shade of the industry turn them into "fake friends" or even turn them against each other.  There is definitely ratchetness all up in through the show #NoShade  but it is the ratchet that we love!!

JareBearSays that at the end of the day Tiny and Shekinah are proving that the are fabulous business women.  They  are clearly able to work together despite the bumps in the road! #NoPun  I am really enjoying this show.  I laugh more than a little bit every episode.  I'm still hoping to meet my girl Shekinah one day soon, but until then I will continue to follow what I believe is an amazing journey!!

Next Monday an all new episode airs on VH1!  If you haven't watched yet  YOU ARE MISSING OUT

Tip T.I. Harris has continually restored his reputation as a wholesome family man DESPITE his past actions and even some more recent situations which may cause some to doubt his influence.  We all know that T.I. has a past that may be represented as negative due to his street persona.  Anyone who knows hip hop music and it's development knows that most people in hip hop started their lives in the urban streets.  T.I. however, has managed to turn over some new leaves to be a present father to his children and loving husband to his wife.  I have previously blogged about the Harris family and their show, but never said much a bout the leading man.  So I decided to open with him today.


T.I.  took his young sons to the area where he grew up.  He is always trying to keep his children grounded by letting them know that they are blessed because of his hard work and struggle.  He doesn't want them to think that they are rich.  He instead wants them to understand that he is rich and all of the work that went into making that possible.  T.I. doesn't always like his children to be so consumed with electronics and technological gadgets.  So this trip to the hood was to teach them some of the things he and his friends used to do out side for fun.  They played games in the streets and even in front of the house.  There wasn't always a video game to play and/or computers and things of that nature.  For most black kids in the hood nature was the only option.  Everyone's parents could not always afford to buy the latest and greatest toys and games so children had to make a way out of no way.  Shout out to Tip for bringing positive vibes to reality television!  Thank you for inviting us into your home every week!!

This weeks epsisode of Family Hustle once again revolves around Shekinah Jo and Tiny Harris.  Shekinah  can't seem to kick her smoking habit which she admittedly wishes she didn't have.  Shekinah told Tiny that at 30 years old she has been smoking since she was a teenager, and has tried more than once to quit.  Tiny is not only concerned with her friends smoking, but she is also worried about her own health because she is on the receiving end of second hand smoke.  She also fears that Shekinah pack or more a day habit can be very harmful.

Tiny decides to take Shekinah to a hypnotist.  Shekinah agrees and the two go to a group session together with several other participants.  In their common fashion the ladies arrive late, and Shekinah is chatty Cathy the entire time.  Tiny goes under hypnosis first and this clearly freaks Shekinah out.  As tiny responds to the commands of the hypnotist Shekinah appears to be shocked and not amused.  It seems that she is uncomfortable seeing her friend under this kind of control, and so she proceeds to try to snap her out of it.  Shekinah hilariously attempts to wake Tiny and when she comes to she says that she was really under the hypnosis spell.  Shekinah finally goes under and the hypnotist tells her that when she comes to she will despise cigarettes.  Shekinah awakes, lights up, and suprisingly to me she is disgusted by the taste of the Newport!!!!


I CALL BULL SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII lol I don't believe Tiny or Shekinah were reall hypnotized.  I say this because I have been to a hypnotist with some high school friends, and as convincing as it was while we were there, they all admitted that they were faking it.  Now I'm not saying I don't believe hypnotism is real, I just don't think certain people have the kind of focused to be put under.  I applaud Tiny for commiting the way she did.  She was just trying to be there for her friend.  I also applaud Shekinah for being ever so entertaining.  She knows how to make good tv!!  I wish Shekinah good luck on her quest to quit smoking.  It is not an easy task, and I know that from experience!  Well it's time for me to go my good people, but before I do I want you all to remember.  If you didn't hear it anywhere else just know........

SWV Reunited (Could this be the end of Sisters With Voices???)

Last nigh'ts episode of SWV Reunited was one of my favorite episodes so far. I mean the ladies had me tearing up a little bit! Coko, LeLee and Taj sat down in musicians therapy and things got very emotional.  Usually when the ladies come together you can expect drama, but the drama during the session was more emotional and healing than anything.  The sisters opened up about their past and some of the things they went through in their child hoods that made them the women they are today.

The chemistry and the love between SWV is undeniable.  It has been over 20 years since the group was formed.  Although they have spent many of those years apart to live their own lives it seems that they were never finished with each other.  I say that to say the ladies haven't communicated well and therefore never really resolved underlying issues they have.

Coko is the lead singer of the group, and sometimes the ultimate DIVA!  She has  earned the title with her power house vocals and her commanding presence on and off of the stage.  Last night she discussed her mother's relationship with a man when she was a child.  She said that her mother dated the man for years and out of no where he left and got engaged to another wchildhood and being molested   This caused Coko's mother to go into a depression and want to commit suicide bringing Coko along with her.  Thank God that did not happen!! It did, however male trust an issue for Coko which is why she doesn't let people in.

LeLee is the wild child of the group.  She loves to have fun and can be very explicit at times.  She is the mother of two and she has two grandchildren.

Lelee opened up about her childhood.  She was molested as a kid.  That is what she feels made her become very promiscuous at a young age.  Lelee longed for the love of a male figure so she looked for it in a lot of different men.

Taj is what I like to call the sensitive one.  She carries a strong exterior, but is really soft on the inside.  She has always been looked at as the one who had it all together even when she was falling apart.  She cried as Coko consoled her.  She told the ladies that she was broken and she was going through A lot during the early days

The highlight of Last nights episode was the ladies taking a trip down memory lane to visit their old homes in New York.  Each one took us to their childhood homes and shared stories about how they met.  They even ran into some old friends!  The ladies of SWV still have a lot to work through, but it is good to see that they are working on their issues.  Hopefully we can expect another album from them sooner than later!!

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta (Must the show go on???????????)

The season finale of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta...I watched it BUT I wish I didn't.  This show has gotten so ridiculous and unnatural that a b**** with a lace front and false eye lashes couldn't even take it!  I mean when is the reality going to come into "reality tv?"

This show should receive an award for best scripted reality series EVER!!! Mona honey you have to do better.  We have Stevie J and Benzino with their fake beef.  Come on now these dudes are supposed to be best friends and your telling me Zino didn't know Stevie smashed Althea before the show????? Erica, and Karlie Redd have clearly not been getting any love in the "love" department.  These chicks too busy in everybody else's business to have some of their own.  Erica's story line fell in the gutter when she broke up witj the broke model dude. (can't remember his name and she should TRY HER BEST to forget it!  Karli tried to play it up like she left Joc, but it was evident that he was playing her to the left the entire time.  I guess she'll be shopping around for her next meal ticket.  Word on the street though, is that she is dating an athlete.  Not sure how true it is, but what ever works for her I guess.

Wacka and Tammi congrats on your marriage.  The love seems real and I hope you to can be an example that love and hip hop isn't all ratchet!  BUT WE KNOW IT IS! lol

Miss Joseline Hernandez was in her bag last night!!! She done poured out the tears again for her a** hole of a husband!  She aired his dirty laundry about him taking things away from her when he get's mad.  Typical father daughter s****!  Why should any grown woman be able to say my "man hid my Chanel bags in his safe because he was pissed at me?"  Stevie clearly doesn't respect Joseline as a woman, and she is clearly looking for a father figure in old man Stevie.  I'm not judging.  I'm just saying what I see!

Mimi Mimi Mimi! Damn I had to say it 3 times smh!  Girl you may have fooled the rest of America, but you are sure not fooling me!!! NIKKO LEAKED THE TAPE and you were aware of every bit of the mess!!  I will give kudos to Nikko though.  He is an amazing actor.  He continuously allowed you to blame him and pretend not to know what was going on.  I guess it's easy to do that once he used you for all he thinks you are worth.  Mimi, girl, you are worth so much more than that, and hopefully you will see that one day!

Actor Jay Ellis has graced the cover of Sheen Magazine.  Jay is an actor who stars in the BET dramedy "The Game."  He plays football player Blueprint Westbrook, love interest alongside Lauren London's character Kiera Whitaker.  Jay Ellis has been chosen for the Exclusive Men's Issue which will be on stands April 29th 2014.  Be sure to check it out.
